Cree Announces Lighting-Class Performance for Warm White XLamp® LEDs

Cree is now shipping production quantities of the XLamp XR-E and XR-C in warm and neutral white (2600 K – 5000 K). The availability of high-performance LEDs across a full range of color temperatures can allow lighting manufacturers to build cost-effective LED fixtures for many indoor home and office applications, helping meet the need for energy-efficient, environmentally friendly lighting. The new warm white XLamp LEDs are binned to the proposed ANSI standards, allowing manufacturers to select LEDs the same way they select bulbs today.

XLamp XR-E and XR-C LEDs feature:

• Correlated color temperatures (CCT) from 2600 K - 10,000 K
• Up to 124 lm @ 700 mA (3000 K)
• Up to 80 lm and 70 lm/W typical @ 350 mA (5000 K - 10,000 K)
• Up to 65 lm and 56 lm/W typical @ 350 mA (3000 K)
• Excellent white point stability over time
