Cree Announces Volume Shipments of Minimum 100-Lumens XLamp® LEDs

Cree is now shipping production quantities of the XLamp XR-E cool white LED with minimum luminous flux of 100 lumens at 350 mA. Cree’s brighter XLamp XR-E LEDs retain the same package, footprint and design parameters as the current XR-E design. These brighter, more-efficient XLamp LEDs enable lighting designers to reduce overall system cost by reducing the number of LEDs needed to meet lighting requirements, without having to change designs to a new package or footprint.

XLamp XR-E LEDs feature:

• Correlated color temperatures (CCT) from 2600 K - 10,000 K
• Cool white: Order codes up to 100 lm min. @ 350 mA
• Neutral white: Order codes up to 73.9 lm min. @ 350 mA
• Warm white: Order codes up to 62 lm min. @ 350 mA
• Excellent white point stability over time
