XLamp MP-L EasyWhite

Unprecedented Performance, Color Consistency and Lumen Density

The XLamp MP-L EasyWhite LED offers the performance, color consistency and lumen density to displace conventional light sources, in a breakthrough 12 mm x 13 mm package design. Combining Cree EasyWhite® technology with up to 1500 lumens of light at 250 mA, the MP-L EasyWhite LED simplifies system design and increases color consistency enabling new applications previously achievable only through the use of multiple LED components. The MP-L EasyWhite LED is the perfect choice for lighting applications where high luminous-flux output is required from a single, small point source. Examples of specific applications include: commercial/retail display spotlights, LED retrofit bulbs, and other indoor and outdoor general-illumination applications.

The MP-L EasyWhite LED further broadens Cree’s portfolio of application-optimized LEDs, specifically designed to meet the needs of the lighting industry.

Learn Cree's Chemical Compatibility Testing Procedures

This video is provided by the Cree applications engineering group to demonstrate the test methodology for chemical compatibility to LED luminaire fixture designers. There are precautions that should be taken with the use of these chemicals and the materials used in a luminaire around any LED. This video illustrates the process Cree has developed for testing the compatibility of chemicals and materials with LEDs. This video should be used with the Chemical Compatibility Application note to understand how materials used in the construction of the fixture can affect the performance of the LED over the lifetime of the fixture, and to help ensure that these performance concerns are not seen in the final product.
